How to make soap flakes at home?
With the new palm oil free flake formula, we recommend you do the following to make your detergent:

put a small handful (30 g) of flakes on the bottom of a container,
pour very hot water to dissolve them (start with 1/2 litre)
Shake well, pour again 1/2 liter of very hot water, until you reach 1L of detergent. Shake well, your laundry detergent is ready!

When you prepare your detergent with the new Marseille soap flake formula, you may notice a difference in appearance, color or thickness (viscosity) compared to the old formula (with palm oil). This is completely normal, because the oleic sunflower oil that replaces palm oil is a thinner oil (like olive oil) and slightly darker. The quality of the detergent and its washing power remain unchanged. It is just as effective and even more environmentally friendly. Over time, the cleanser may thicken, all you have to do is add hot water and shake to dilute it again.

Practical tip:

Add a glass of white vinegar to the fabric softener compartment (softens and descales).
To perfume your laundry, add a few drops of essential oils (lavender, tea tree, citrus, etc.).
For perfectly white linen, add a tablespoon of baking soda or a small handful of soda crystals.
If you want to perfume your laundry with a few drops of essential oils, wait until it has cooled down.
